The biggest hurdle so far has been finding a physical space to open. If you or anyone you knows of a space- please reach out. They are currently assessing one promising, but maybe you know of the perfect space in North Omaha to help this early education center grow??? (Cough cough anyone wanna reach out to Susie Buffett 🥰).

The foundation of our personalities, trust vs. mistrust, secure vs. insecure, relation to food, play, and feeling safe happen during these formative years before we can even remember.

It is a fatal flaw in our own American culture to put so little emphasis on equitable, accessible, affordable child care. Women have been leaving the workforce during Covid at alarming numbers. This is a reminder that no matter how hard we work to get solid candidates to run... When the #SpoilerSystem is still in place- we have less hope to EVER get people elected who truly appeal to the majority. @wolfpackjew posted this breakdown of why Ranked Choice Voting is desperately needed to be able to check a 1st choice, 2nd, and 3rd. The person who has the most overall support ✨👉🏼would change the elections to be far more representative + voters realize how their voting/ ranking is vital to more than just one person. It’s not a one and done. Your next choices matter too. So maybe your #1 doesn’t win it, but at least you’d get your #2 or 3. True popular voting. Not spoiling.

Congrats to the amazing women who made it to the election. We ♥️ you! Everyone else- there is WORK to be done to overcome incumbent money and name recognition. 🙏🙏🙏 Let’s all do this together.

At this morning’s presser @govricketts packed a bunch of unmasked Senators together for a photo (right before mentioning that hospitalizations are up), said “marijuana is a dangerous drug” about ten thousand times, blamed weed for kids killing themselves, and complained that the lifesaving federal pharmacies program didn’t clear their plan with him before swooping in to get thousands of vaccines in thousands of arms in record time.
